International Cooperation and Exchange Department
The Department of International Cooperation and Exchange/Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs serves as the pivotal department overseeing and managing international collaboration and exchanges within the university. Its core responsibilities encompass:
1. Enforcing national policies, legislation, and regulations while formulating and implementing institutional guidelines pertaining to international cooperation and exchanges.
2. Managing the overseas endeavors of all faculty and staff, including overseas study programs, visits, and hosting foreign delegations.
3. Coordinating the management of the university’s students dispatched for overseas study, internships, and visits.
4. Overseeing the recruitment and management of foreign teachers and experts at the university.
5. Coordinating the allocation of scholarships for international students studying at the university.
6. Ensuring compliance with foreign-related regulations and overseeing regulatory matters concerning international affairs.
7. Organizing and guiding the university’s efforts in promoting Chinese language internationally.
8. Engaging in international communication activities on behalf of the university.
9. The Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office, under the purview of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, is responsible for managing and guiding collaboration and exchanges with these regions.
10. The Office of the Foreign Affairs Leading Group is housed within the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, responsible for coordinating administrative tasks and ensuring the implementation of decisions and resolutions made by the Leading Group.
